Follow the money. How was Halliburton awarded substantial government contracts for work it cannot perform in Iraq? And, considering Vice President Dick Cheney was paid six figures by Halliburton in 2003, is it unreasonable to ask? Someone recently said that governments that hide something are usually afraid of getting caught.
I wonder why the investigation-happy Republican-controlled Congress doesn't think this is worth looking at? Or don't the troops in Iraq deserve to have dependable suppliers and contractors?
