In fact, I've sent e-mail correspondence to President Clinton and e-mail, as well as actual correspondence to my congressman to protest the return of China to favored nation status for trade.
People argue that handicapping China will not help their treatment of other nations, but will only serve to make them more hostile.
That may be right. But surely there must be some sanctions we can take, some way we can show our disapproval as a nation toward their mistreatment of Tibet and Taiwan, as well as their own people.
