I remember quite well the post that you made a few months ago about how that company's blasting in your neighborhood had caused very severe damage to many of the homes. You and your neighbors are 100% justified in suing, and you deserve to be financially compansated for the damaage, your legal expenses, and punitive money, too.
Historically, in cases that involve one *pirvate* party suing another *private* party in the U.S., the court system has usually been very fair and unbiased. The only kind of situation where you can't usually successfuly sue someone who has harmed you is when you are suing the *government*. For example, if the government is doing a drug raid, and they "accidentally" break into the wrong house and kill one of the residents, it is almost impossible for the victim's survirors to successfuly sue the government. But as far as one *private* party suing another *private* party, the courts are usually very fair and unbiased.
