I've heard he keeps it up until the 3rd movie (don't tell me about it though; I want to wait and see that one in the theater). It gets continually less as time goes on. In the first movie, it was really bad: "But uncle, I was going to go get some POWER CONVERTERS!" Guess Han Solo's the only real man in the series.
