Very funny post. I laughed, I cried, I copied it so I could eMail it to my friends. My question is: What does George Lucas have against the Black Man?
Lando is a traitor and is all over Princess Leia like the stereotype of a slave on a southern belle.
James Earl Jones' voice was inserted into "A New Hope" after someone remined him that there wasn't a single black actor in the film.
Captain Panaka is a chump who lets Queen Amidala get captured and never does anything right. Check out how she caps those droids at the end of the movie! She doesn't need (or get) any help from Panaka's superfluous character.
The Greatest Actor on The Planet (Sam Jackson) gets only a cameo, but at least gets an action figure. I have heard everything from "Mace Windu will fight heroically with Obi_Wan and Anakin in Episode II" to "Mace Windu will be seduced by the Dark Side in Episode II." Lucas has a chance to prove that at least one black character in Star Wars can be an untainted hero (along the lines of Luke). I hope he does.
P.S. I don't think Lucas is a racist and the Star Wars series is my favorite film series of all time. I just can't ignore the facts. BTW, Jar Jar and all the other ALIENS in The Phantom Menace are, for the last time, not blacks, asians, or jews or anything. THey are gungans, nemoidians, and toydarians! Get it through your thick skulls.
