I've never been to sure about legalizing weed, even though it's legal in some places. I don't really care about it one way or the other - it's not my thing. Though I have friends who toke (a hell of a lot) at the weekends, I only know one who's pretty much stoned all the time.
If weed is legalized, will habituation cause people to look for more of a hit with stronger drugs? And if so, won't organized crime simply move into the 'extreme' stuff?
I'm totally for the use of weed for medical purposes. I'm just not sure that legalizing manufacture and sale is a 'solution' to addiction.
Then again, maybe it is....
