Actually, he said when he left, Ken would be sorry [or something to that extent].
I don't know if Ken is, but I sure am.
What happened to all the political threads? The philosophical threads? All the thoughtful, meaningful threads? They're gone. [Or maybe I'm not reading the right posts...]
I don't know what effect RBB's departure has/had on this site, but things were sure better a couple weeks ago.
BTW, I disagree with your assertion that one person can't f*** up or improve this website. Well, maybe there's some truth to that, on a large scale at least--one that accounts for the majority of Crankylanders--but, regardless, one poster can strongly influence the posting habits/enjoyment level of another, single poster. Maybe not several posters, but certainly one.
In fact, I lost a lot of interest in this place when this dude named Zej left. I became a regular again [and wasted way too much time here] during the Discord/RBB wars. When Discord left, I started posting less and less. And now that RBB left, well, this site lost some more of its appeal, still. Maybe the departure of these respective people don't influence the average Crankylander. [Though I'd doubt that. Shoot, Discord's affect on several posters is pretty damn blatant; I think the same can be said about RBB's.] But regardless of the effects their departures had on the average Crankylander's enjoyment of this site, their depurtures sure effected at least one Crankylander, e.g., mine.
Oh well. Hopefully someone or some issue will come along next week, and things will be back to normal.
