The stuff I get is not crappy, either. I have a pretty high tolerance which is why I smoke it so fast - a friend of mine who doesn't smoke very often was stoned for around two hours from a few hits off of it. She would definitely not gain too much more good for her money if she was paying more for premium, she could probably make one of my $50 bags last three months and still get high every day.
