Heres my philosophy on movies:
-If you go see a comedy and it makes you laugh,its good.If it doesn't,its crap.
-If you see a romantic movie and makes you wanna fuck your girl/guy,its good.If it makes you wanna practice abstinence,it sucks.
-If you see a violent action movie (such as end of days) and makes you wanna relive those brutal scenes in your head,its good.If it makes you pet a stray dog...bad.
-If you see a sci-fi movie and makes you wanna ridicule star trek fans,then its good.If it makes you wanna tell your friends how the director left out key sci-fi facts like when Kirk died....then you need a life.
