Yes it's true, I spent $3.50 to rent this, and it took all I had not to return to Blockbuster and burn every copy of this movie into a smoldering heap. Folks, it pains me to search for video auctions on Ebay, and to not only see this movie listed as I scan the video auctions for worthy purchases, but to actually see people have bid on it. You got your typical washed up cop, blah, blah, blah, and your typical flashbacks as to why he boozes up, deep pain and all that crap. Enter the cop's humurous side kick, Mr. Cranky couldn't have described it better. Pollack, stick to the Grumpy Old Men scripts, at least you'll have Daryl Hannah. The utter embarassment as in most films, is that the villan, is entirely good looking, a walking corpse, and can kill a city full of perfectly killable people, but can't shoot a gun when it comes to Arnold. And for the girl, yes, I saw Supernova, just about as bad, do us all a favor next time, just sleep with the devil so he may make the end come quickly.
