BUT . . . I have to admit that many of these things are true about many men. The "boy culture" trains boys to be thoughtless morons, and most of them are too afraid to opt out. My son, who is a totally cool dude for a boy of 11, finds himself under enormous pressure to act like a mean little fuck or get taunted as a "faggot." It doesn't help at all that almost all elementary school teachers are women. Boys need positive role models of gentlemanliness, and they're not getting them.
Women: DON'T SETTLE! Demand that men behave like real people. Do NOT have sex with them early on or they will NEVER change! Tell them what you're looking for in a partner and don't get emotionally drawn in until you see lasting, long-term reliable evidence that they are good men. If they're not willing to get to know you unless they can get in your pants they are the worthless selfish dorks Jennifer describes.
P.S. Actually, this toilet seat thing is a canard. One could also say that women always leave it down. But otherwise I'm in accord with Richard.
