...I highly doubt that a film student (junior or not) 100 years from now who really likes Hitchcock won't get that little bit of info. Hitchcock's stuff is firmly planted in the halls of film fame. And, it's knowledge of stuff like the original ending of "The Birds" that separates the mega-fan from the casual film watcher.
