#1 If by "unflattering comments" you mean "lies" then I guess you're right. Liz Edwards doesn't like people to tell lies about her husband. Shocker, I know, I'm sure you enjoy it when your loved ones are maligned.
#2 If by "unfounded" you mean that Lynne Cheney did indeed get offended by it being pointed out that her daughter is in fact a lesbian and then got questioned about why she would be offended by the truth if she wasn't ashamed, then, yeah, I guess that's totally unfounded.
