06/27/07: I'd assume the idea is to get people into the church, so why hate on gays?

From a christian standpoint, yelling obsceneties at them won't get them into the church so they can then get help from God, assuming they want help.

You've got to befriend them and open the door to them, otherwise you'll just anger them and before you know it you'll have a fullscale army of gays fighting with would- be christians, the whole thing would be a mess.

I'm bring Christianity into this discussion because the right wing seems to supposedly represent christian morals and they do a horrible job of it.
