Except for the dog part... and only because I think that two willing, consenting people should be able to do whatever the hell they want to do. I'm just not sure how much a dog understands about marriage to be able to consent to it.
HOWEVER, that said, I can tell you that there are animals out there who have feelings for their "owners" that are of the lovey-dovey variety. I dated a guy once, whose girl dog would get VERY jealous if we started to snuggle. She would even growl at me. I mean, I knew her before hand and if we weren't in the snuggling mode, all was fine. Start the smooching or whatever and she was pissed. I think she didn't see him as "daddy" but as her man!! So, maybe a case by case basis?? hmmm... no, I just don't know about the marrying animals thing.
