I actually wasn't saying that marriage between dogs and people was a good thing. I certainly think that if someone is screwing their dog, then it could be considered animal cruelty, (although obviously that didn't stop Xie's mom).
All I was saying is that I don't think ANY marriage should be the government's business. And companies should not be able to deny health insurance to their employee's families/significant other if the employee is willing to pay like anyone else for the coverage to be extended to those people.
