Liz doesn't think it is fair for someone to make unflattering comments about her husband (who happens to be a presidential candidate) yet she felt perfectly entitled to accuse Lynne Cheney (who was not a political candidate) of being ashamed of her daughter's sexual persuasion. Liz must be clairvoyant since her comment was totally unfounded. And these two events send you off on some rambling pontification regarding Republican hypocrisy. WTF?
The point being, in case you missed it, if you are going to throw rocks, don't cry foul if someone chooses to throw a few back.
