I watched this movie in hopes of learning some basic facts about warp travel. I took the advice and watched it to explore fact. I got a poor plot with mediocre acting. Since when is the underworld associated with star travel. I understood the power of a black hole inside that rotating orb in the center of the ship but not how such a poor script made its way to the screen., let alone how my friend comprehended it. I might have well just watched any Star Trek movie to see warp speed. On the contrary, I think that anyone knowing the basic theories of faster than light travel could be bored to sleep with this freakishly overdone movie. And those five minutes that they actualy went over hyperspace and the space-time continuum in the movie it was cut short by that dead guy with the messed up face, a crew member getting sucked into the black hole orb, a random thing exploding, or the discovery that the ship went to hell when that guy was saying that stuff in Latin o
