I rented this movie the other night, somewhat wary of what was to come, but thinking that it might not be that bad. Perhaps it was my constant hope that Antonio Banderas will have at least a couple of movies in America that are as brilliant as the 43 he did in Spain. When Antonio let me down, I thought that perhaps the synthisizers and electric guitar would die down and that maybe it would get better after the first few minute. But when I heard the first few notes of "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" (and I don't know HOW I lasted that long) I knew that it was all over. It was at this time that I got up, walked out of the living room (and I rarely ever walk out on movies), and opted to clean the toilet instead. What does that ell you about this movie???
