(Hondo-AP) -- Three bodies have been found on a southern New Mexico ranch owned by ABC newsman Sam Donaldson.
The deaths are being treated as homicides. The victims were a man and two women.
Few details are available about the investigation, but state police say they were first called Tuesday night.
ABC News confirms that Donaldson and his family are fine and were at the ranch Wednesday helping investigators.
Lincoln County Sheriff Tom Sullivan says his office was contacted after Donaldson went to the house of his ranch manager Tuesday and discovered an apparent crime scene.
Police are trying to identify the three people killed.
The ranch is located in south-central New Mexico between Roswell and Ruidoso
