I'd heard this was so incredibly bad that it was hilarious, so I rented it. I laughed my ass off.
None of the Baldwin boys are that great anyway. Stephen can be somewhat funny as he has proven in some of the mindless comedies he's done. Alec can actually be okay, as he proved in WORKING GIRL and MARRIED TO THE MOB. He's not very good at drama though --- too wooden and Montgomery Clift-ish. Daniel is probably third, talent-wise, with hits and misses scattered through the years. But William...Billy Boy...what a stinkeroony. Match him up with Cindy Crawford and we're talking acting ability reminiscent of a third-grade play of "The First Thanksgiving".
I just don't get why models (and singers and rock stars, etc.) all get some wild hair up their ass to ACT. And why the hell do brain-dead studio heads keep encouraging them to do so BY HIRING THEM????!!!!!!!
Anyway, rent this one if you love bad movies. You'll laugh, you'll pity, you'll not want to eat for weeks from the sheer nausea of watching poor Cindy try to EMOTE.
