Excederin, congrats on the nuptials. I've been married two years myself, and I am 5 years older than my husband. It works well because he's mature for his age, and I'm immature for mine. You are correct, the secret to a good marriage (or any relationship, for that matter) is trust, with respect thrown in for good measure. I really don't believe that Mr. Tick and I will ever split, because we're such good friends and have a mutual respect. Plus, we have the same sense of humor and are both into Buffy the Vampire Slayer (always a strong basis for a lasting love!).
