11/16/1998: Really and for true?

God, you're cute (and funny and smart and kind). I solemnly swear never to leave Cranky's again without at least having the decency to bid farewell and until we meet again. Where is Galileo, anyway?

Good to hear that something is finally working for your sister, although it's too bad that such drastic measures had to be taken. I can't imagine having to live with so many restrictions, but I guess sometimes we have to do what we have to do. Hope that owie of yours is healing nicely?

I'm glad you like my monikor, and you're probably not going to believe this but I had you in mind when I chose it. Not because you could ever give me a headache, but because I know you suffer from migraines quite often. NOW do you see how lame I am? Perhaps Melon Head would've been more appropriate, eh? And I don't consider you immature in the least; more like cool and refreshing.

Tp, I'm glad you're here, man. I always enjoy reading your all-too-rare posts up yonder, especially your funny zingers aimed at Shakesmear. I think he digs 'em, too.

As far as things getting better once you're married, I don't have a whole lot of experience yet, but so far things are quite good. Is there something in particlar that you're nervous about? I basically believe that the whole marriage/commitment issue boils down to the big T-word (trust, of course), and if it hasn't been fully developed and nurtured then some insecurities and fears are bound to surface. Not that we don't all have apprehensive thoughts occasionally, but you know what I mean. Has a date been set? By the way, my wife is almost three years older than I am, which is kind of different.

Cherry, ever been close to becoming some lucky guy's wife? Or is that something that doesn't interest you? I can't for the life of me imagine why someone hasn't snagged you yet.

Watched BRAVEHEART tonight for the first time in a long while, and had almost forgotten how incredible it is. Beautiful women, manly men and groovy accents. The cinematography and battle scenes are remarkable, too. Haven't been to the theater since seeing RUSH HOUR (so-so), but hope to find time to see HAPPINESS and PLEASANTVILLE soon, and maybe THE SIEGE.

See ya soon ...
