I would certainly hope one of them had the balls to do the right thing. Unfortunately, that's not always the case. Some people tend to be dominant and others submissive and groups of friends tend to flock together in that manner. The dominant male of female can often get the submissive members to follow along. Again, in the case of murder (red rum), that one of the submissive would rebel against such a thing. But, there are numerous examples of that not being the case. I seem to remember a case in California where a teenager killed his girlfriend and that secret was kept by a large number of people. In that case, the murder was one of those dominant personalities who got people to stay quiet about it. Finally, someone went to the police but that was I believe several weeks later.

I personally think the action by the four submissive personalities in this film was abhorent. I did not mean to make it sound like it was excusable. The fact is, that kind os shit happens.
