You know he died during the taping of that movie. Sandra Bullock had done a movie with River, and of course he was a good friend of Reeves so it hit him especially hard.
There's one scene towards the end of Speed where you can clearly sense a disturbance in his force (Keanu). It's a short scene but it feels foreign like it was taped underwater or something. You know. You know the one I mean!
