Denzel, you are too good an actor to even humor the idea of playing in a film like Fallen. It's nice that you want to challenge yourself as an actor (even though I find nothing challenging in Fallen). You have a responsibility to your audience to deliver a film that can in essence deliver. Shame on you Denzel. I hope the dismal box office success of this film sets you back upon the path of righteousness--quality film endeavors.
