Well, I just happened to see that movie again last night and I still think it was pretty good.
I like suspense-type movies that aren't just all our gore and horror. Plus, at least for me, it got me to want to learn more about this Azazel character and what history it had in Biblical religion. I'm still having a little trouble relating exactly what Azazel respresented in Christian faith and what Azazel was in the movie.
Supposedly, Azazel was a fallen angel who taught men to make weapons for war and women cosmetics to use to seduce other angels (impurity). Some say Azazel was another name for Satan. Others say he represented all that is evil. But I mainly kept seeing a story about a ceremony involving 2 goats (too long to tell) and how that story was what defines the word "scapegoat" today.
Anyway, I liked it...and Se7ven too.
