Not everyony can act mentally handicapped without being blatantly rude and insulting to those who are truly mentally challenged. Leonardo Di Capiro did a very commendable job, and deserves all of the parise that he received for his role. You should not feel ashamed to publicly voice your appreciation of his talent!! As for The Basketball Diaries, he did a good job acting like a junkie, especially since he says he's never done drugs!
