Every time an animated feature comes out I take advantage of the anonymity provided by a higher than usual quotient of anime chatter to ask the question: does anyone know about the title of some movie I watched as a kid? It was an animated feature about these people fighting for freedom from an evil empire with robot soldiers, and the emperor was a robot himself, and there was this scene where all these mutants started melting and a Han Solo type character. It was really horrible, and it totally fucked me up as a kid, so I need to watch it again.
