Personally I loved the movie. I disagree with Mr. Cranky. After all, are the flying whales really all that much different than the hippos in tutus in the original?
I liked it because of the way it stayed true to the original concept. These were not the things that most people necessarily envisioned when listening to these pieces of music, but rather what the *artists* envisioned.
I liked that it wasn't always logical. It added to the artistic value of it and the expansion of the imagination. Plus, I loved the music. :)
Just my $.02,
