It had to be some of you -- there's no way 25 % of the American public watched the last quarter hour and not a single Crankylander was among them. I've read most of your movie reviews -- some of you have no taste whatsoever, so just come on out and admit it: "I watch 'The Bachelor.'"
I, on the other hand, have an alibi: I was at a movie screening last night, just like I always am! Plus, I don't watch ANY reality shows, much less this junk, so I think I'm free to go!
Because I work for ABC, though, I happen to know who won thanks to the press release (which was given the same level of alert as the ones we got when the US started bombing Afghanistan). So... did he pick the right girl? Because I don't know what the other contestants look like, but Helene certainly ain't "all that"! And for that matter, neither is Aaron, but then again, I don't stand in judgment of men, so maybe I don't know what the hell I'm talking about.
So lemme turn this into a poll:
1. Have you watched a single episode of this crap?
2. Did you see last night's season finale?
3. If you're female, is Aaron hot?
4. If you're male (or a gay female), is his bride-to-be hot?
5. Are you gay enough to tell me if he made the right decision? (All of my female co-workers are!)
6. Just what do you think of this show's concept? Isn't it just a rip-off of that fiasco (come and get it, LRT!) "Who Wants to Marry A Millionaire"? And why is "Bachelor" successful while that was a failure?
7. And finally... are you looking forward to January's "The Bachelorette" so you can see if what's good for the goose is good for the gander? Hell, well this stupid idea even work like "The Bachelor" did?
Feel free not to answer a single question but instead to rant about feminism, sexism, the idiocy of the American public or whatever the hell you want...
