Well, more to the point - we were at a small Cambridge club called Soundstage (R.I.P.) during Tori's Little Earthquakes tour. We were standing toward the back (though still within 50' of Tori - your pal Mark has good taste in music, BTW) near the entrance to the balcony. The place was packed. Then, just before the show, Aimee Mann ('Til Tuesday was still a big local draw - if, indeed, they hadn't already broken nationally) came in with a couple of other people. The crowd was such that she ended up brushing up against my friend as she went to go to the balcony. As we both followed TT at the time, needless to say, my friend was thrilled.
I keep meaning to pick up her post-TT stuff, but for some reason, what I hear just doesn't zap me the way the TT stuff did.
