Fear is without a doubt one of the worst movies i have ever seen. Unfortunately, the hosts of two parties I went to rented this movie, so I was subjected to it twice. First of all, let me just say that we did NOT need to see that much. The bedroom scene is gross but typical of today's media, and thank God the movie didn't go farther than it did. The roller coaster scene is disgusting, repulsive, and unnecessary. I actually cannot believe that someone actually put that in a movie. Have we no limits anymore? Second of all, the characters are boring and stereotypical. The main character is just another rebellious, amoral teenager who hates her parents. The stepmother is ridiculously permissive. The father is the only smart one, and I ended up disgusted that nobody listened to him. I cared not at all for any of the characters except the main character's male friend and her little brother. As for the others? I wouldn't have been disappointed if the obsessive boyfriend had killed them all off.
