There's too much sticking up for the film because of the book going on. If some cunt actually thinks that their non-existent relationship with HST would be impaired by negative comment on the film. This Emperor's New Clothes bullshit has to stop. when I looked up some of the reviews the clowns who'd written them were trying to imply everyone else didn't understand the film (including them ergo it must be good). The film was mediocre- peppered with a few crazed-comic moments such as the scene at the DA's conference with the clips from 'Reefer Madness' etc. It is a classic case of the film not being as good as the book which isn't surprising , the book is a hard act to follow.
