Although Depp still has his hair, unlike Mr. Thompson, at least he had the balls to let Hunter cut it for him. The great Duke was there at the set all through shooting, which probably had a lot to do with Depp's "slurring" his words. The script was the book, and the book realy happened. True GONZO jounalism. I'm waiting for a film adaptation of Thompsons book "Hells Angels". Surely that would be a treat for all....."cut off the head and the body will die".
