I agree that this movie is one of the coolest in the world. And it truly shows Johnny Depp's acting skills. Anyone who says that this movie "sucks" should haul their ass into a bookstore or a library and read the book. The book truly makes you understand the movie better. When I first saw the movie, I had no idea about the book and I found the movie bizzare and weird. But once I read the book, I understood the movie instantly and loved it ever since. I even own it now (it's on my shelf along with the rest of my Johnny Depp movies). Once you read the book, you'll want to see the movie again. So, if you say you hate the movie, read the book and then you'll see that it's a wonderful movie.
