I didn't even finish watching it. When "Push it to the Limit" started playing, I nearly destroyed my VCR as I tried to rip the tape out.
Untouchables SUCKED ASS. I never cease to be amazed that people somehow like, or even love, that piece of garbage. Even De Niro sucked in it. The final shootout was one of the stupidest, unintentionally hilarous scenes I've ever seen in a movie.
I saw Carlito's way back when it was in the theater, and don't really remember that much about it. I do remember thinking it was okay, though.
But Mission Impossible blew. As did Snake Eyes. And yes, so did Carrie.
And I don't even have to touch on Bonfire of the Vanities.
Anyway, De Palma's success is probably the most baffling thing about Hollywood. Well, except for Pauly Shore, or Robin Williams, or... oh, forget it, I could go on all day.
