I agree that 'Clockwise' was a distinctly poor film which exasperated me intensely as John Cleese roles tend to do. At least in 'Fawlty towers' JC was funny and exasperating. But 'Clockwise' does have one wonderful existential line when Cleese' character, falling further and further behind time, blurts out to his companion " It's not the despair, ,it's the hope."
