That's not original. It came to mind from reading the John Cleese quote "It's not the despair, it's the hope." Yes, yes. Or, as my Irish grandmother (God rest her soul) always (and *often*) said "Expect the worst. You'll never be disappointed." And people wonder why I tend towards pessimism (okay, Spelling Bee, you're on). I once saw John Cleese on TV talking about Fawlty Towers (one of my all-time, hit-parade, pee-your-pants-laughing comedy experiences). Apparantly it took SIX WEEKS to produce each episode. Guess that explains why the series was so excellent--each episode was a polished gem. It would be interesting to know how long "Fierce Critters" and "Clockwise (thak you, Philm Phan)" took to make. I'm not expecting this movie to quack me up. (Everybody groan now.) Quack, quack, everybody.
