Fierce Creatures wasn't *that* bad.
The problem is that everyone was expecting another Wanda. I don't believe the movie poster or previews had A Fish Called Wanda II anywhere in them. Yeah, they had the same actors... but so what? A lot of things beside just the cast affect how a movie turns out... script, director, producers, etc., just to name a few.
Admittadly, it wasn't anywhere near as good as AFCW, but there were still quite a few scenes that make the movie worth at least matinee or video prices.
As a stand-alone movie, Fierce Creatures is definitely watchable. It just can't shake it's "heritage", and therefore is going to get a lot less credit than it deserves.
Oh well. C'est le vie.
