Cranky in his review makes one of the all-time great stupid observations, one that nearly every idiot filmgoer has made at one point or another: coincidence.
So many people seem convinced that it's just totally unbelievable that a few seperated characters would meet each other in one situation or another. They seem to think these characters are being followed at the beginning of the movie for no reason, rather than the plainly obvious fact that they're being followed BECAUSE they meet in the future. There is generally no coincidence in the meeting of characters in movies beyond that in real life. Deal with it.
