This movie sucked. Plain and simple. Here is a list WHY:
1. Supreme evil making a collect call 2. Hostile aliens checking in with security 3. Former military officer getting stiffed as a cabbie 4. The idiotic, robot-aliens visiting Egypt to take their stones 5. Remote Controlled bugs 6. Universal dress codes 7. And when they're not in dress code, they dress like they dressed in the dark in Michael Jackson's or in a sad freak's closet 8. The astonishing lack of qualified police and security measures taken 9. The soundtrack 10. How boring every single action sequence sucked 11. The fifth element being love! Elements have to make things up--love is an emotion. 12. The script/screen play 13. The acting 14. Every five minutes, on average, at least 4 people get shot, blasted, or beaten to a pulp 15. How stupid everyone in the galaxy is 16. Containment walls are made out of aluminum foil 17. McDonald's must've paid a lot to have that much advertising in this movie 18. Reanimation of a multicellular being takes about as long as it takes you to lose interest in this movie--too fast. 19. The lack of ethnic diversity 20. And finally, how freaking predictable the ending is.
Why was Zorg was aiding the supreme evil in destroying the universe? Kind of bad for business when everyone and everything is destroyed. And why Earth? Why didn't those stupid robo-turtles keep the rocks and build their own temple to save the universe and never jeopardize Earth?
They could have been a bit more creative in the ships featured--only four--and able to be made out of clay with toothpicks.
And get this--"The animals in this motion picture were not misstreated or harmed in any way."
What Animals??? Zorg's stupid elephant-sloth? Those snaggletoothed mercenaries? The blue opera singer with the tentacles? Those stupid robots at the beginning? Bruce Willis? His cat? I know that is mandatory for good reasons, but the was only one-to-two animals in the entire film.
My Diagnosis: Put it
