Sigmund Freud? Yeah, but maybe we can call this movie WASP Club because it's about every white dude that was pissed off when he was raised in a priviledged lifestyle and then forced to spend eternity in a cubicle.
I'm not sure if the Fight Club allows ghetto rats in its club but all I saw was a bunch of ex-Microsoft programmers giving themselves props because they were making up for their desires to kick their 5th grade bully's ass.
So the suburbs is where cults recruit from, eh? It's a good movie but something tells me if a hardcore prison lifer took a look at these Fight Club dweebs, he'd bitch slap them silly.
The sad thing is that a club like this could probably make it in today's world. People really need a hero nowadays.
4 out of 5 Stars. You'd think more people would write an American Beauty or Fight Club theme showing the absurdity of 24/7 suburbia-materialism-capitalism. I leave out one star because I think of the billions of people that don't have the time to reflect upon these same conditions when they're still trying to find tonight's dinner.
