Dear Mr Cranky, I know the point of this site is to rag on films (whether they are of credit or not), nevertheless I find it interesting that your main criticism of 'fight club' is in regard to the storyline's originality. Personally, I believe that Fincher is one of the most unique and innovative directors of our time, and just because he utilised the psychological works of Freud doesn't mean the plot isn't original. All concepts usually come from somewhere originally, fight club was originally a novel. A novel, which was good but was made even better by Fincher's use of the film medium. P.s try thinking of something that no one's ever thought of before, I guarantee it'll make you rich.
