I've been in a similar situation, and i decided that it would be better to be 'nice' then it would be to tell the person what i really felt, and i ended up regretting it..
(Though i think i'm babbling now.. OH say, you have a poll up there!)
That bit in "Good Omens" with the 4 horsemen at the Diner cracked me up..
That whole "I didn't touch Elvis" bit was hilarious!
