I don't know if I ever read the book, but it matters not anyway, because, as revealed in question #1, I can't compare it to the movie because I haven't seen the movie.

I don't know any songs that have the ALICE theme, and I've never willingly watched a music video in my life.

I honestly couldn't tell you. I forget most of my dreams within a fairly short amount of time, mainly since I have a lot of crap on my mind.

I'd say so.
But when it's used well, I don't mind.
