Edward Teach was hit several times by a Naval Lieutenant using a rapier. During the fight his throat was also slashed by another Navy sailor. When he was finally dead and his surviving crew had surrendered they beheaded him and hung his bearded head from the bow of the Naval frigate.
And there was not a soul who mourned the death of this murderous psychopath (he once shot his steersman in the leg, on another occasion he closed all the hatches and lighted a barrel of sulphur. His crew nearly suffocated but he himself wasn't affected by the poisonous smoke).
You're the only one on this board who has consistently remained in character. Even if you are a murderous villain, at least you never soiled this board with profane language! Farewell Cap'n Blackbeard. Fair winds and stay faithfull to yer Jolly Roger!
