Everyone has had in their life a really bad job, any one with one worse than this.
Hardee's summer 1996
I just survived my freshman year of college I now needed a job so I put in several applications. I got a response and interview at my local Hardee's, my onlw response. I applied to several other, better places like McDonalds they never responded, one Mickey D's alomst hired me until they learned I could not work the graveyard shift.
I knew Hardee's sucks, they were the worst fast food in the world. Burger Chef was worst, only because they were bought by Hardee's. I would soon find out how bad they really were.
Working there the hours were long the pay was shit $4.40/hr. Sure this was before the wage hike but even McDonalds was paying close to $6.00 then.
One man made this place a unliveable hell. His name was Henry Y. Patel the assistant manager. How this man got this job was a mystery to me, he was a Hindu probably from the higher castes who thought all under him should lick his greasy ass.
He forgets this is the USA, we have a class system based on $$$. No way anyone would give this man a shred of human respect. He drove a p.o.s. car. One day he bragged about getting a NEW car, His concept of new was a even bigger used P.O.S. It was station wagon that looked like to survived a demolition derby.....Barely.
Now here are a list of Henry's job offensises
He was incompentent at his job, I knew nothing about managing a fast food restaruant then. I could of faked a better job than him. He would screw up the most simple of orders, and piss customers off to the point of violent fits.
He was useless to the point that he would make me get of break early to help with one customer that came in while I was eating lunch.
Could not grasp even the minor mathmematical principles, could not tell the difference between a 10 dollar bill and a $20 one. When he needed me to come in earlier get in extra hours, he would have the nerve to call at 4am while I was getting sleep.
One day he called me early to come in, I cam in at 8am when I was supposed to be in at 12pm. He puts me to work, so he could take a nap in the office. Luckily for him it was slow, if I needed his help, I would of quit and left him to a food riot. Come to Think of it, sleeping on the job was the only thing he ever did right.
Hell, I could of dressed up a manequin in henry's uniform and attached a cd player playing STYX's greatest hits in endless loop and stuck it in the office. The dummy would of done a better job than this idiot. The fake Henry would have been promoted to corporate level too.

One sunday I customer needed change 4 quarters for a dollar, I asked henry to unlock the drawer to make change. His answer, "No! Sunday bank closed". Any other manager would of unlocked the drawer for me.
That was not the worst, one day I was working front counter, Henry was in drive thru. Because of a slowpoke grill person I had a customer waiting 15min for two double cheesburgers, the order finally comes up. AS I am giving them to him he rudely pulls them from my hand and tells me "Drive thru has higher piroirty" I tell the idiot the man was waiting a long time "He tells me "Dont talk back to me" I wonder to this day I did not explode. and Say
"You are not my father you fucking moron, I this man wants is money back 'cause you gave his shit to a man who just drove up, I have had enough of your shit, this america not India asshole, I want to know how much dick did you have to suck off sideways to get that job. You Worked at Mcdonalds for 2 yrs, doing what. They must have fired you since Hardee's sure as hell did not give you better offer. Take my job and ram it up your ass faggot"
In reality I apologized to the customer, teling him sorry that the manager is a retard that cannot be reasoned with. The customer yelled at him too. Which was always fun to watch Henry get screamed at, He would do nothing but have panic attack. Henry threatned to call the cops and ban him from the store. His answer, big loss because I do not even want to even come back here again.
Just a few minutes later he fucks up another order and the woman screams so loud that the speaker almost breaks. Then he follows up by over charging another customer and giving her the wrong change. He thought the 20 she gave him was a 10 dollar bill.
When he did get in a customer fight He would brag that he worked at Mcdonalds for 2 years. The question is Doing what? THere is no way he was a assistant manager at McD's and retardees gave him the better offer.
There are two things that probably happened
1. He was fired from Mcd's after two years for being a terrible worker. Then gets hired by Hardee's and promoted because the only good thing he can do is suck really good cock.
2. He was given a better offer, Henry may have been just a lowly cook for 2 years at McD's. His job was going nowhere being passed up for promotion due to his stupidity. Then comes Hardee's offering him a assistant Mgr job with out asking about his essential job skills.
In the end this moron cost us business, I seen loyal patrons promise to never return because of his stupidity. After I went to school later that winter in December the place went out of business. The worst of it, the District MGR transferred to the Monroe store to run that one into the ground.
I now know why Hardee's sucks, this is a company who hires the worst employees and pays them low wages and staffs managers who do not have any intellictual capacity to do the most simplest of tasks.
