Miniseries superior to Lynch abortion...err, movie. Irulan/Paul meeting/relationship, mistake, like the invented relationship between Mina Murray and "Prince Vlad" was in BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA.
While I liked the casting of Jessica, set and costume design, and the worms from the Lynch abortion, all of the casting (including li'l Alia) was fucking PERFECT in this version.
The one quibble (other than the stupid mis-use of Irulan-she was, at best, a pawn and an incidental character in the book ) that I had was HOW IN THE FUCK DID PAUL AND JESSICA GET OUT IN THE FUCKING DESERT TO FUCKING BEGIN WITH?!? They just show Paul waking her up after the Duke is taken.
There were moments where the special effects were at latter-day Doctor Who levels, but given that it was an overall superior production, I'm more than willing to be forgiving.
IT KICKED ASS!!!
