First, may I say that it is a great relief after excusing myself from the Mr. Cranky forum drivel for several months to return and find a fair number of messages actually pertaining to the movie at hand.
Second, while I am not a fan of Firestorm let me say one thing in Howie's defense: lines like "come on" and "hold on" and "let's go" don't generally require one to do much emoting. I'd challenge someone from the Stratford-upon-Avon crowd to do better. For a low-average intelligence, beef-cake character, I think the casting director hit the nail on the head. The script had more problems than the "actor."
